- ORDINARY WORLD
- CALL TO ADVENTURE
- "Long live the king!"
- "No!!"
- MEETING THE MENTOR
- "You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life."
- Simba is an young, ordinary lion who lives at a place called Pride Rock.
- TESTS, ALLIES, ENEMIES
- Simba had a father named Mufasa who was once the king of the Pride Lands. Mufasa was killed by his evil brother, Scar. Scar became the new king of the Pride Lands.
- THE SUPREME ORDEAL
- After the death of Mufasa, Simba is framed for his father’s death and subsequently runs away to a far off land. There, he is raised by two animals named Timon and Pumbaa. After many years, Simba is greeted by his father's spirit. Mufasa explains to Simba that he take his place in the Circle of Life.
- THE RETURN
- After Simba's spiritual reunion with Mufasa, he decides to return to the Pride Lands. He fights off Scar's hyaenas and eventually encounters Scar himself.
- Simba faces off against Scar. During this intense battle, Simba nearly falls off a cliff and clings onto the edge in desperation.
- Scar reflects about how similar this situation was when he killed Mufasa. In anger, Simba manages to jump up and defeat Scar by pushing him off a cliff. Simba restores and completes the Circle of Life at Pride Rock by having his own daughter.
