  • Act I
  • 'What, drawn and talk of peace! I hate the word as I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee. Have at thee, coward!
  • "Part, fools! Put up your swords. You know what to do."
  • "Three civil brawls , bred of an airy word By thee, old Capulet and Montague, Have thrice disturbed the quiet of our streets and made Verona's ancient citizens cast by their grave beseeming ornaments to weild old partisans, in hands as old, cank'red with peace, to part your cank'red hate. If ever you disturb our streets again, Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace."
  • Act II
  • "Ah, Juliet, if the measure of thy joy be heaped like mine, and that thy skill be more to blazeon it, then sweeten with thy breath this neighbor air, and let rich music's tongue unfold the imagined happiness that both receive in either by this dear encounter."
  • "Conceit, more rich in matter than in words, brags of his substance, not of ornament. They are but beggars that can count their worth; Butmy true love is grown to such excess I cannot sum up sum of half my wealth."
  • "Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain? Away to heaven respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now! Now Tybalt, take thee 'villain' back again that late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company. Either thou or I, or both, must go with him. "
  • Act III
  • "Thou, wretched boy, that didst consort him here, Shalt with him hence"
  • What if this mixture do not work at all? Shall I be married then tomorrow.....O, if I wake, shall I not be distraught, Environed with all these hideous fears,"
  • Prince Escalus enters while the Capulets and Montague serving men are fighting in the streets. The Prince is so sick of all the fighting, so he makes a new law for the families.
  • Act IV
  • Juliet tells her parents that she is going to confession, but instead she goes to the Friar's cell as planned, to secretly marry Romeo. 
  • Act V
  • "Here's to my love! (drinks.) O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.
  • O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die.
  • "See what scourge is laid upon your hate, that heaven finds means to kill your joys with love. And I, for winking at your discords too, have lost brace of kinsmen. All are punished."
  • Tybalt is still angry at Romeo for attending the Capulet party so he challenges him to a duel. Tybalt kills Mercutio while he tries to break up the fight. Then Romeo and Tybalt fight and Romeo kills Tybalt.
  • Act V
  • "O Brother Montague, give me thy hand. This is my daughter's jointure, for no more can I demand."
  • "But I can give thee more; For I will raise her statue in pure gold, That whiles Verona by that name is known, there shall no figure at such rate be as that of true and faithful Juliet."
  • Juliet is given a vial by Friar Lawrence to fake her death. Juliet is about to go to be the night before she is supposed to marry Paris and she hesitates with drinking it. Juliet finally drinks the vial so she doesn't have to marry Paris and she can be with Romeo.
  • "Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, I drink to thee!"
  • Romeo fights and kills Paris after seeing him at Juliet's grave. Then Romeo drinks the poison that he bought and kills himself because he thinks that Juliet is dead. Then Juliet wakes from her sleep and sees Romeo is dead. She wouldn't want to live without him, so she grabs his dagger and stabs herself to death.
  • CAPULET
  • After they discover Romeo and Juliet are dead, they are all so sad and the prince makes them realize that everyone has suffered from there feud and many people have died from it. Capulet and Montague make up and decide to stop the feud between their families.
