  • The story is set on Manor Farm run by angry, drunk Mr. Jones. The talking animals are summoned by the pig Old Major to the barn one night. He wants them to start building a rebellion against the humans, because they are the center of the animal's problems.
  • 4. Climax
  • A few months later Mr. Jones doesn't feed the animals for a whole day so they break into the foodshed. The workers find them and whip them but the animals are mad and attack. They win the battle and drive all the humans from the farm. They change the farm's name to Animal Farm.

  • Get him!! He's a traitor!
  • I'm innocent!
  • The pigs start adding to the seven commandments so they don't break the rules. The animals work hard and don't get much food. The pigs claim to be doing important business things and need extra things to help them work better. They read progress reports to the other animals to show how much better it is now.
  • The pigs drink alcohol, they walk on two legs, they wear clothes, and they live in the farmhouse. When meeting with the owners of neighboring farms the other animals can't see the difference. The seven commandments have been replaced with "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others".
