- Herald hardrada invades York in hopes of taking down Harold Godwinson and taking over England. He attacks from Norway and brings a staggering 300 boats.
- Harold Godwinson marched 180 miles north to fight Harald Hardrada. Instead of sending housecarls (the most professional soldiers) he decided to send around 10000 fyrd units (unprofessional soldiers) . Eventually they took a quick break as his men were weary after walking north for 4 days straight.
- While Harold Godwinson was marching towards Harald Hardrada, Harald made some lethal mistakes.Firstly, his army was scattered across which prevented them from doing proper teamwork. Secondly, they left some of their armour on the boats as they were not expecting Harold Godwinson to come so soon.
- once Harold Godwinson arrived he easily mowwed down through the first soldiers but they were stopped dead in their tracks by a certain viking axeman. This one singular man was able to hold off Harold's whole army and buy some time for Harald Hardrada's army. eventually he was taken down by a spearman under the bridge.
- After a long and brutal battle, Harold Godwinson had finally won, managing to land an arrow through Harald Hardrada's throat. Frightend and scared, the rest of Harald's soldiers soon met a very similar fate. with only 24 remaining boats, Harold Godwinson went back to England to celebrate his victory.
- Tired and weary, Harold Godwinson celebrated his victory in england with his civillians. Little did he know about what was going to hit him...
