- ponyboy is outside a movie theater in bright daylight. he has light brown hair that is longer than most other boys and greenish gray eyes. he is a greaser. he has 2 brothers, sodapop and darry.
- CLIMAX
- so is dally
- the gang finds johnny in an empty lot beat up and bruised badly by the SOCS, the enemy of the greasers. sodapop tried to calm johnny down.
- FALLING ACTION
- the boys went to a drive-in movie theater where they met 2 SOCS girls, cherry and marcia, later on cherry becomes a spy for them. some SOCS come up on pony and johnny, they hurt pony and nearly drowned him in the fountain, then johnny stabbed bob (SOCS). they left town and went to windrixville.
- RESOLUTION
- after the church burned down and johnny got hurt him, pony, and dally went to the hospital and johnny died, afterword dally robbed a store and got shot by the police.
- johnny ded
- after that the big rumble occurred between the SOCS and greasers, the greasers won.
- in the end almost anything was back to normal, and pony had to write about how his life has changed and he scared off some SOCS.
