- The Travel Through The Water Cycle
- Once upon a time there was a water droplet named Cassy, and Cassy lives in the amazon rainforest with her mom, dad, and little brother Mak peacefully in a big tree. Mak and Cassie go out for a walk while mom and dad cook dinner.
- hey mom can I go play with cassy out of the tree?
- sure honey, be safe
- For some reason droplets in the village start rising, and so does Mak. So Cassy grabs on to Mak and they evaporate together, but mom and dad are still in the tree! Now they are separated from their parents and have to get them back
- HELP!!
- I got you!
- Caution! the sun heats up the water in this rain forest and turns it from a liquid form to a gas form and it rises up to the sky, this process is called evaporation.
- It's all going to be ok, we are just going through a process. But we need to find mom and dad.
- Now the gas form has all clumped together and turned back into a liquid, a cloud. This process is called condensation. All the water clumps up and it gets so heavy that it falls back down to the ground in rain, snow, ice, slit, or hail form, this is called precipitation.
- What is happening Cassy? I am scared!
- Hey Mak, let's go see if mom and dad are in this soil that is going to be pushed into the dirt by gravity and become groundwater
- Now that Mak and Cassy have become soil they are going to be pushed into the dirt by gravity and be pushed out on a river or lake as discharge. Maybe they will find their parents then.
- ok, I just want to go home.
- Now that Mac and Cassy have been spit out in a lake as discharge, Mak got caught up in a strong current and they got separated! Now they are all alone in this big world. How will that all find each other again.
- Mac! do not worry, I will find you.
- Cassy! the current is too strong, I am drifting away!
