- The Old Man with Wings
- As Pelayo throws out the crabs due to the new born having a fever from the smell he sees a figure outside. Pelayo goes up to look closer and he sees this old man with giant wings, he runs back inside to inform Elisenda. They called someone who they think can help them identify who this mysterious man is, their neighbor who they called said "he is an angel, he must have been coming for the child but the poor fellow is so old the rain knocked him down"
- Everyone has heard that they had the angel in their yard. Pelayo protected the angel but he put him with the hens. The next morning he found the whole neighborhood in front of the hen cage. People were treating the angel has a circus animal,. Father Gonzaga arrived to come examine what was happening and try to stop people but as more time went by more people arrived.
- People from all over came to the angel thinking he can heal, Pelayo and Elisenda were happy with this because they started to charge people to come see him their rooms were filled with money. The people tried offering food and they wanted a reaction from the angel so they threw rocks at him and they burned him. Father Gonzaga told everyone to stop the foolishness because they were treating him poorly.
- A new circus came with a lady who turned into a spider. Everyone started leaving the angel alone and going to the spider lady since she allowed people to touch her and ask questions. After a few days everyone had fled from Pelayo and Elisenda's home.
- Elisenda noticed the angel started acting weird, as she was cleaning she saw from out the window that the angel got out of the hen's cage. He grew his wings back and he tried to fly but he failed. Then he tried once more and he achieved his goal, as Elisenda watched him fly away she felt emotion seeing him go but also relieved since she did not have to deal with him anymore.
