- This illustrates Lydie having a conflict with nature because a bear enters their house. The bear might attack Lydie or her family. She must try to make the bear leave the vicinity of her house.
- This image shows when Lydie is having a conflict with her mother. Lydie does not what to leave her home whilst her mother wants to leave the farm because she thinks the world is coming to an end.
- This scene illustrates Lydie having a conflict within herself. She is struggling to think whether she should accept Triphena offer and stay safe and keep working at the tavern.
