  • Julia talks about going to an evening mass and Friar is denying by saying that we should go alone instead so others don't see them when they arrive there. This is referring to the marriage and she want's to also fake her death so she doesn't have to attend there with fake poison
  • Act 4, Scene 4
  • Hold, take these keys and fetch more spices, nurse.
  • They call for dates and quinces in the pastry
  • Juliet arrives at the house with the poison hidden with her and she plays it off like she doesn't have it, she didn't pick up anything, and she was just wandering outside.

  • This is the time that Juliet was going to bed and the nurse tells her to spend time all by herself when she is about to go sleep. she is curious about drinking the poison and wondering what would happen and how others would act.

  • while cooking, the capulet tells the nurse to check on Juliet to see if everything is going alright and she is fine. It was when they were cooking so they possibly wouldn't of expected her to die in such way.

  • When they found out she's dead the nurse calls upon them and states that she isn't living no more. The nurse says she couldn't do anything about it and she was deceased and rotted.
  • She's dead, deceased, she's dead, alack the day!
  • Juliet is appeared "dead" but she is just faking it for a plan so she doesn't have to go to the wedding and she can "wake up" where her altar is so she passes by all the obstacles ahead of herself while everyone is spreading the word that she is dead.
  • most lamentable day, most woeful day that I ever, ever, I did yet behold!
