- Stupid old women. I have learned all this with hard work and practice.
- You should apologize to Athene for comparing yourself to a goddess.
- Rising Action
- I challenge you to a weaving competition.
- Challenge Accepted.
- Arachne thinks that she´s better than Athene. She compares herself to Athene and says that no one can match her skill.
- Climax
- This will be perfect!
- Now, let me just see what Arachne has done..
- Athene is in disguise and Arachne doesn´t know. She insults her by saying that she has learned everything by herself and with hard work.
- Falling Action
- How dare you insult me like that!
- Athene reveals herself and Arachne is shocked. Athene is then challenged to a contest by Arachne.
- Resolution
- That will teach you a lesson for comparing yourself to a goddess.
- Since Athene is faster that her, Arachne gets mad and decides to weave patterns of what the gods have cruelly done into her design. She does that to insult the goddess.
- Athene gets mad at Arachne for insulting her. She feels that she can´t take the insult that is being put towards her.
- Athene turns Arachne into a spider. She does that to teach Arachne a lesson on not comparing herself to a goddess like her.
