- However, a portion of the population is surviving due to a mutation that causes them to be born with shoes.
- WE ARE SURVIVING BECAUSE OUR FEET DON'T BURN.

- These Torqlins with shoes are surviving due to a change in their allele frequency that causes them to be born with shoes.
- THIS IS WHY WE SURVIVE.

- Because the Torqlins born with shoes are thriving and the ones without are dying off, they are reproducing and passing on the mutation. This leads to most of the population having the mutation.

- Now, the whole population is being born with shoes because all of the Torqlins without shoes are dead. Additionally, now all of the Torqlins can survive without being burned up.
