Brutus meets up with Cassius, Casca, Cinna, Metellus, Cimber, Trebonius and Decius. He tells them about the plan to kill Caesar and how he doesn't want them to swear an oath to each other because the cause bonds them together. He also tells them to not involve Cicero and to not kill Mark Antony.

Scene 2: Caesar and Calpurna
.
I won't go.
Decius comes to take Caesar to the senate but Caesar tells him all about Calpurna's dream and that he has decided not to go. Decius tells Caesar that she misinterpreted the dream and he says that the dream was saying that Caesar's blood is helping the town and he lies saying the senate will give him a crown. Caesar buys what he is told and decides to go meet the senate.
Calpurna and Portia
After Brutus meets with the Conspirators, his wife, Portia, walks out and is very angry with him. She tells him that she needs to tell him everything because she is his wife. She takes a knife and cuts her thigh and tells Brutus if she can bear that so she can bear his secrets. Brutus agrees to tell her everything but he says that he will tell her later.
After Calpurna's nightmare, she goes to tell Caesar about it. He is understanding and he tells her that he will not go.
Calpurna and Portia are both similar because they both care deeply about their husbands. They want to make sure that their husbands are ok. Calpurna appears to be treated a bit better by Caesar than Portia is with Brutus.
