- We learned things like wants an needs, economic systems, supply and demand, and buisness cycles.
- What does that mean???
- I'll tell you about wants and needs first. Wants are things we want to have, but don't need to live. Things like the newest iphone are wants. Needs are things you need to live. Things like food and water are needs.
- Ok, I think I get that. what are the rest of the tings you were talking about?
- Great! Lets talk about economic systems. There are 4 types of economic systems and they are market, mixed, command and traditional. In market, the government isn't involved, and supply and demand have a huge part in it. In command, the government controls the buisnesses and these are usually in communist countries. Mixed is both command and market mixed together. In traditional, the buisnesses are old fashioned.

- Ok, supply is how much of a product a company makes, and demand is how much customers want to buy it. You need to find a balance and find where the supply and demand are the same, or there will be too much products left over, or all the products will be sold out.

- Yeah, we also talked about buisness cycles. There are 4 Stages which are Peak. Recession, Trough/Depression, and Recovery/Expansion. Peak is when the buisness is at its best. REssesion is when the Buisness starts to fail. Trough/Depression is when The buisness is at its worst. Recovery/Expansion is when The buisness grows again.
