  • SETTING: PLAYGROUND
  • OUCH!!
  • SETTING: CLINIC
  • Now that I've looked at your arm, it looks like by the help of mitosis, this will heal fast!
  • *cries*
  • SETTING: CLINIC
  • The main phase where your cells are in is call the Interphase
  • wow!
  • On a fine bright day, Chloe, Jane, and Emily were playing in a playground. While playing, Jane fell down from the swing and had bruises on her body especially on her arm. So, her friends sent her to the clinic to take a look at it.
  • SETTING: HOSPITAL HALLWAY
  • Spindle fibers are the cytoskeleton structure that forms during cell division which is the MITOSIS.
  • The doctor in charge at the clinic looked and checked Jane's arm. She explained how mitosis occurs in 6 stages namely, Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, and finally the Cytokinesis. She also explained how mitosis works or help cell growth and broken bones faster
  • SETTING: HOSPITAL HALLWAY
  • also, the nucleus is where the chromosomes and DNA is stored protected by the nuclear membrane!
  • Wow, that's amazing! I feel like I am already healed!
  • The doctor explains how before mitosis begins, there is an interphase where the cell grows and the chromatin starts replicating. She also explains that the interphase is divided into 3 parts. the G1, S, and G2. G1 is when the cells prepare the chromosomes to be replicated. S is when the synthesis occurs, meaning when the chromosomes are replicated and made. Lastly, G2 is when they are finishing up the replication process.
  • SETTING: DOOR
  • Since now you've known all about the cell cycle, You are now fully healed and ready to go!
  • Yay!! Thank you so much doc! I feel so healed!
  • While walking at the hallway, The doctor explains the first step in mitosis which is the prophase. which is when the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear envelope disappears. She then also continued to explain about the second step which is the metaphase wherein the chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers, which then join the centromere.
  • The doctor explained also explained to Jane the third step which is the Anaphase. This helps him heal by creating more cells. She also explained the Telophase and so on.
  • Right after the telophase, cytokinesis begins. During this phase, the cytoplasm is completely divided. After this stage, the cycle of cells is complete and continues to form new cells!
