  • Henry Ford was born on a farm, and was one of six siblings. He grew up on his family farm, and was educated in a one-room school when he was not busy harvesting.
  • Hello I'm Henry Ford!
  • At the age of 16, Henry Ford moved to Detroit for machinist opportunities. He soon was married to his wife and shortly after in 1891, he began working for Edison Illuminating company where he used the opportunity to learn about electricity. He looked up to Thomas Edison as his hero and they became great friends.

  • In 1899 Henry Ford resigned from Edison Illuminating company and began to work on building cars. He then started the ford motor company in 1903, and his goal was to make an affordable automobile for the average American.

  • Soon after Ford Motor company was made, cars were forever revolutionized. Henry Ford found a way to make cheap affordable cars for the common man and later Henry changed America. Henry Ford, in 1913 created the first assembly line for full automobiles which sparked an impact on the US economy and would forever change the business of manufacturing. He made it possible for every family to own a car which also changed transportation forever.

  • The reason why Henry Ford was so famous was because of his impact on American economy and transportation. He was a well renowned business leader and because of his invention of the assembly line, Henry Ford was known for mass producing automobiles faster than anyone.
  • Henry Ford died on April 7, 1947, and even though he passed on his impact and business will continue to carry on for many more generations. The manufacturing of cars will be forever changed because of his revolutionary ideas. Henry Ford was able to accomplish his goal, which was to create a motor car for the great multitude that is affordable.
