- Stranger "Hey, I’m fine thanks."
- Jannet "Hey how are you doing? Do you need any help?"
- Street
- STRANGE Hey, I’m fine thanks.
- JannetHey this is Jenny and I live in theneighborhood. I heard you coughing incessantly. Are you alright? It’s too cold outside.
- In the heart of a large city, there sits a two story house, mostly dark and gloomy in a winter night.
- Street
- STRANGER I am good thanks
- JANNETBut you are shivering and coughing.Anything I can do for you?
- In a winter night Jannet is up watching TV in her lounge. Then she went to the kitchen then came back to her bedroom then back to lounge but killing time was a tall order for her. She turns off the TV and sits quietly. It is chilly outside. It is 1:AM when she anxiously sees the wall clock. Frustrated she keeps her head back at sofa and closes her eyes.It is a perfect silence. Only then she heard the voice of someone coughing vigorously probably outside on the street, she thought. Leave it, is her first thought but then she thought for a while and decided to go out to see if there’s someone who needs her help.

- She went on to the terrace and peeped into the street. First left, then right, but she could barely see anyone.
- Street
- STRANGER No response!
- JANNET Hello, hello can you hear me?
- She hesitantly went out to see.

- The sound was coming from the left side of the street. She walked down the lane and reached a point where there was a green area. There behind the bushes of Ligustrum, was someone. She stood there quietly for a while, and then she cleared her throat and said.

- EMERGENCY WORKERIs this Ms. Jannet?
- JANNETYes I am, there lies the person in thatgreen area on the bench

- She went back to her house and went straight into her bedroom and then tucked herself in the blanket. The sounds of coughing were still echoing in her ears.After an hour or so there began a violent storm and the sounds of things smashing started to emanate, followed by a period of relative calmness. Then she gets up, peeps out from the window it is snowing outside and there are no sounds of coughing. She gets anxious and decides to see him (the stranger). She covers herself with a raincoat and decides to go outside and see where that man is. When she opens the door a gush of wind and snow pushes her back.
- She goes outside onto the street and then towards the green area. Upon reaching, she discovers that he is still there and buried in the snow. She thinks he’s asleep and calls him,
- She rushes back to her home, calls the emergency service and tells them the location. In a matter of minutes, she hears the sound of the ambulance. She rushes down on to the street; it’s snowing heavily outside.
- She waves her hand to the ambulance. A man from the ambulance asks her,
- Two men rush from the ambulance with a stretcher in their hands. She takes the top cover off of that person. The men lift the stranger and lay him on the stretcher. She goes with him in the ambulance.

- PHYSCIANHe’s got hypothermia and early stage pneumonia.
- JANNETShe asks the physician “how’s hisCondition?”
- Hospital ICU unit
- PHYSCIANCan’t say anything the odds are even,but we are doing our best.
- JANNETWill he be alright? She asks.

- PHYSCHIANSHe’s okay now we’ll discharge him by 11:AM, but he needs a good rest andgood diet. And do remember heneeds to be protected from the cold. Do bring him up after three days for afollow up.

- JANNET You are okay now, what’s your plan?
- He is taken into the intensive care after the preliminary treatment.

- She’s sighs and walks back to her seat and sits down, she stands up and sits repeatedly. Around 4:AM his condition got worse. The medical staff puts him on a ventilator. He’s having difficulty breathing. By 7:AM he gets stable. Then gradually he gets better along the day. In the evening she goes back to her home.

- JANNETI had a family and my man was a soldier. He was posted to war in Afghanistan. He lived therefor almost two and half years andthree months ago, I received this tragic news that Bob got killed in a terrorist attack.

- There’s a brief moment of silence and then both see each other and smile. She nervously adds:
- She sobs and can’t speak for a while.
- JANNET(Gets curious at this act) What are you going to do with that?
- PERSONNENothing just killing time,
- Personne, while swallowing his tears says:
- PERSONNEDefinitely not going to kill you.(Pointing towards apple)I feel like eating something. The knife was too blunt so I thought maybe I need to hone it first.
- Jenny gets up and leaves the room. Then she turns back and says
- JANNET(To the camera)What kind of absurdity is this? Why is he behaving so strange? Is he planning something? Or is it purely a chance?

- She’s been terrorized by this last act and spends the whole night sitting in her bed, standing on the terrace, peeping into Personne’s room.
- JANNETPersonne!Calls his name again. Personne!
- PERSONNEI am so sorry, I had no better way to pay you back. Whatever I did was on purpose. Have a sound sleep and stay happy. Personne
- She smiles and enter her room.

- By early morning she fell asleep for a brief time. Suddenly she wakes up and checks the time it’s 8:AM. She quickly goes into Personne’s room and finds out he’s not there.
- She goes to the terrace he’s not there, goes to kitchen, then back in the lounge. Then she gets out of the main entrance to check out side.
- There’s no reply. She then gives up and comes back towards the main entrance. While opening the main door she finds a note on the floor. The note was written by Personne.
