- You hurt someone

- Musa and Mariyah, when you were each born, Mummy and Daddy were both so happy!
- But when you were still little, somebody was badly hurt. The police said Daddy hurt the person and broke the law. Daddy said he did not do anything wrong.
- I want to see Musa and Mariyah
- I'm not sure that's a good idea
- The Court had to decide what really happened. Theylistened to everyone. The Court thought it was Daddy who hurt the person. The Judge said Daddy had to go to prison for what he did.
- You went to see Daddy in prison a few times with Mummy. You might remember playing there. You also had some phone calls with him.
- While Daddy was in prison, he and Mummy were not getting along. There were some arguments that made them both feel sad.
- They decided to break up. Lots of time went by without you seeing Daddy.
- When Daddy got out of prison, he wanted to see you, but Mummy was not sure.They went to a Judge, who asked me to find out what you want to happen.
- We'll ask a Judge to decide
- I have told the Judge what you think and how you feel, and what I think should happen, in a report.
- My report says I don’t think it is safe for you to visit Daddy. But I think he should write you letters and send you cards to keep in touch. You can write back if you like.
- The Judge will decide whether you will see Daddy or not in October. Mummy will let you know what was decided and what will happen next.
