- This shows the effect that war has on families because not only the soldiers have to deal with war, but people loose their families and might not see them again the only way to talk is mail which takes a extremely long time. They also have to face the fact that their family might not even come back.

- This shows the impact that ww1 had on the economy. Ever since the war happened, the steel and gun industry was booming because of the increase in demand for guns. The U.S exported a large amount of guns and steel.
- While WW1 was gruesome we learned a lot as a country and overall benefited and were better off and more prepared for the future.
- Another impact was the fact that mostly men were drafted for the war so they had to leave their jobs. Since there were so many openings in jobs people decided to start hiring women since there were no men. This was great because women were starting to be treated like people not a cooking and cleaning robot.
- Since the world war was 2 sides, that made a lot of countries find new enemies and people started to hate germans not just the country but the people. There was a lot of hate against other nationalities. I also know this because after WW11 asian americans or just asians were subject to hate and concentration camps, so i can infer there was hate towards Germans after ww1 as well.
- After the war Women still worked, We had better devices for war, We were taken out of a recession and had a 44 month economic boom, Many people experienced "shell shock" or PTSD,3 We made enemies, people lost their loved ones. You can look at the war as helpful because great things happened or look at it as terrible because bad things happened, But our country came out and improved from it.
