A Suitor, Ctessipus, throws a cow foot at Odysseus to make fun of him. Telemachus comes up and yells at him making the suitors laugh at his lousy threat.
Theoclymenus sees a horrifying scene, blood everywhere and runs out, thinking that the gods have something bad prepared for the suitors.
