- Dan has been teleported to a world called Urula and he is just waking up.
- Rising Action
- Xergod is imprisoned in a magically enforced prison. His prison is starting to weaken and, once he sees an opportunity to escape, he will.
- Rising Action
- Dan was welcomed into a village and the villagers taught him magic. They were surprised to learn that Dan could use all nine elements of magic (fire, water, wind, ice, earth, life, light, dark, and electric).The village sent Dan on a quest to defeat Xergod.
- Climax
- A goblin attacks Dan, but Dan dodges and fires a powerful water spell back at the goblin.
- Xergod's chief disciple, Markod the demon, blocks Dan from reaching Xergod and uses earth magic to fire rocks at Dan. One of the rocks scratches Dan's eye. Dan uses wind magic to pick up the rocks and fire them back at Markod with more force.
- Xergod has awoken from restoring his energy. He and Dan are about to clash.
