- Let me explain it to you. Metacognition is the awareness or analysis of one's own learning or thinking process; this term was coined by John Flavell (1979-1987).
- Yes, you're right. In addition, Metacognition have Metacognitive Knowledge that comprise three components.

- What are the three components?
- These are Declarative, Conditional and Procedural. It will help students enhance their personal capacity to become proficient in choosing appropriate thinking and learning strategies in different learning tasks.
- Yup. This will benefit both novice and expert learners to increase and develop their comprehension.
- That's cool! This will help learners to transmit their gained knowledge and understanding across different tasks.

- Novice learners have limited knowledge, relies on working memory and struggles to transfer principles to new contexts while Expert learners have deeper knowledge, look for challengeful task, relies on longterm-memory and they're able to transfer principles between related domains.
