- EXPOSITION
- These are my brothers, Soda and Darry. I'm Pony!
- CONFLICT
- Oh no, I killed a man. How could I do this? I did it for Ponyboy.
- RISING ACTION
- It's Dally!
- Ponyboy is a boy who lives in the west side of Tulsa, Oklahoma with his brothers Sodapop and Darry. He mostly hangs out with his gang, two-bit, Johnny, Dallas, Steve, and himself.
- CLIMAX
- While Johnny and Ponyboy were out walking, some socs jumped them and Johnny killed a soc, (upper class kids) Bob to save Pony.
- FALLING ACTION
- Pony and Johnny were scared to get caught by the police so they ran away to Windrixville and hid in an old abandoned Church. Dally came to see them a few days after they arrived.
- RESOLUTION
- For Johnny and Dally.
- While Dally, Pony and Johnny were driving back to the church fro getting food when they saw the Church on fire! Johnny and Pony immediately went into the church to save the children inside. dally followed to stop the two boys.
- All three boys were injured but Johnny was worse, he died in the hospital. Dally couldn't handle it so he ended up robbing a store, pulling an unloaded gun on the police, then the police ended up shooting, killing him.
- Johnny and Dally's death took a toll on Pony. He was completely out of it for a couple weeks. He finally realized how important they were to him. He needed to tell their side of the story. He realized he needed to face the truth.
