In 1619, the first people of African descent stepped foot into North America. They got to Jamestown, USA and scattered around Virginia and more states. In about 1640, these people started to be used as slaves. This lasted for a mere 200 years with no remorse until, Abraham Lincoln became President and started a civil war for their rights, fortunately, he won the war.

Although Racism isn't like the 1600s-1800s, people are still getting racially profiled. Colored people are uncomfortable in their own neighborhood as they say 69% of it is white. There is also a lot of talk in the media about racism. People are getting brutally beat and killed by cops every day because of their skin. People are still getting treated unfairly in restaurants, public places, stores, and even in their workplace.
As people, we are all 1. We must unite and stop this problem together. We have to be the ones to start the campaigns, start the movements, spread the word. We will have to be the ones to finish this problem because if we don't, who knows what will happen next
