- Mark lives in New York. He is going to take a ski trip this February! He is deciding between two places: Beaver Creek, Colorado, or Okemo Mountain Resort, Vermont.
- Okemo is wonderful resort that Mark can drive too, which eliminates travel costs all together. The mountain is beautiful, and not too crowded. Although Beaver Creek surpasses Okemo in all of these areas, the resort is still lovely and cheaper.
- Beaver Creek has the nicer resort and the better mountain. At the same time, it costs tons more money than Okemo- not including the flight. With Mark's daughter's bat mitzvah coming up, he doesn't really think spending extra money on a ski trip is smart.
- Even though going to Beaver Creek would be Mark's first choice, because of the circumstances, he's choosing Okemo which is still a great option!
- Skate Park
- It’s Taco Tuesday and Mark is excited! He eats his tacos, and after, he is going to have a side of either beans or corn.
- Mark likes beans even more than corn. But, they seriously upsets his stomach, and he needs to be on his game tomorrow for his job interview.
- Mark does like corn a lot, just not as much as beans. However, the corn doesn’t have any side effects besides tasting good!
- Mark decides on the corn! Even though the beans are the ideal choice, corn is still a great option and the best choice for his specific situation!
- Shoe Shopping
- Mark’s friend, Jett, has asked Mark if he wants to go to the skate park tomorrow! Mark has never skateboarded before.
- It would be so fun to learn how to skateboard! Mark also hasn’t hung out with Jett in forever. He wants to go skateboarding!
- In a few days, Mark has his state championship soccer game, and he’s in the starting lineup. It might not be worth the risk to go skateboarding and possibly get hurt, if it means he couldn’t play in the game.
- Mark could also just ask Jett to play some video games! It’s fun and safe!
- Mark is going to ask Jett to play video games! Even though it may not be the ideal choice, it’s still a ton of fun, and it’s the best choice for his specific circumstances !
- Mackenzie is going shoe shopping! She needs to find a new pair of practical shoes. While browsing the store, two pairs catch her eye.

- Mackenzie is obsessed with these boots! They are so cool, and the shoes of her dreams. But, they’re not great for walking, and they’re pricey.

- These navy sneakers are definitely pretty, but not quite as amazing as the others. Although, they’re practical because they’re good for walking and not too expensive!
- Mackenzie is going with the navy sneakers! Even though the boots would be the optimal choice, the navy sneakers are still wonderful, and the best for her needs!
