- "Digital Citizenship refers to the ability to engage positively, critically and competently in a digital environment."

- People on the internet use harsh words that they would not use in person, which is why I will be emphasizing online etiquette to stop the spread of cyber bullying.
- As a teacher I will be helping you understand that your written words on the internet are just as powerful as if said out loud... Later this week I have planned multiple activities for the five core social emotional learning competencies.

- Another aspect of digital citizenship we will also be going over is building healthy usage patterns which will also help with cyberbullying . How long would you say you're using technology through out the day?

- Oh wow.. "Studies have shown that excessive use of technology can have negative effect on the minds of children."On your cellular device you can check your usage and the amount of time you're on your device a day.
- when checking my usage I had 4 hours and 34 minutes, is that too much?
- "Experts say adults should limit screen time outside of work to less than two hours per day." I would have to assume it would be the same for a student when done with school for the day.
- Ways to limit your screen time would be turning off notifications, as well setting a timer for time allowed on the device will help you not lose track of time and be more interactive with family and friends. Which will help stay off your technology device.
