  • When Barnumn was young he was poor. At a house with his dad being a seemstress, he met the rich Charity. They invisioned a life together when they got older, she moves to New York with him and their life begins. Everything the man went through. Also how Charity didnt care what her parents thought she made her own choices anyways. This just shows that no matter how tough life is you can take it to reach your dreams.

  • His kids gave him the idea of starting something bizarre so he got all the "freaks' in town and started a show He wanted to embrace these people instead of keeping them in hiding how they have been all their lives come alive in the sene s taking them out of the darkness to embrace themselves

  • he is trying to convince her that they're meant to be together, despite their differences but also shows that just because you grow up poor doesnt mean you are destined to that all your life it realtes to change in this scene
  • Resolution The Greatest Show
  • with barnum leaving the circus to follow the fame around the world. It shows his absence caused everything to fall apart. His family leaves him because of jenny kissing him in the paper. Also him not being there when his circus catches on fire.
  • Barnum is reeling from a devastating fire that has destroyed his circus building when he finds himself surrounded by his family of fellow performers. Estranged from his wife and children, it is the encouragement of these “misfits” that brings clarity to Barnum. He finally sees himself fully and truly as a fellow outsider, and in embracing this reality, Barnum resolves to give up the chase for praise from the masses and moves to reconcile with his family.
  • with the circus he gave the "freaks" a place to call home, a family. The circus keeps them together through everything. The greatest show to them because it shows their bond together. They created it and having everyone else enjoy who they are as people makes everything ecstatic. Barnum hands over his part of the Cirus to his paretner so he can watch his kids grow up
