There are 3 types of bodies. Type one is ectomorph. Ectomorph is a body type with a slender, slight build. It is characterized by a lower percentage of body fat, small bone size, and a small amount of muscle size and mass. People who have this body type exhibit a lean appearance, often with long, slender arms and legs. Type 2 is endomorph. Endomorph is a body type with a large, soft, bulging body and pear-shaped appearance. It is characterized by a high percentage of body fat, large bone size, and a small amount of muscle size and mass. People who have this body type generally have a round face, short neck, and wide hips. The last type is called Mesomorph. Mesomorph is a body type with a solid, muscular, and large-boned physique. It is characterized by a low-to-medium percentage of body fat, medium-to-large bone size, and a large amount of muscle size and mass. People who have this body type generally appear muscular and well-proportioned.
Lifetime wellness is very important as it defines how long you will live. We've learned about all the different wellnesses and what they are. Lifetime wellness is the sum of all the wellnesses along with good habits. Some of these habits are resting on time, muscular activity, flexibility activity, aerobic activity, aerobic sports and lifestyle activities.
Common injuries include Sudden Pain, “Knotted Up” Feeling, Swelling, Soreness and muscle Spasms. If you experience any of these make sure to rest and protect injured area, ice the area to reduce swelling, wrap area in a elastic bandage (be careful to not wrap area too tight) and elevate the injured area.
Being overweight can increase you risk for health conditions as well. These conditions are Type 2 diabetes, High blood pressure, Heart disease and stroke, Kidney disease, Sleep apnea and Osteoarthritis. There are also benefits for being healthy. These include lower risk of cardiovascular disease, Higher metabolism, Prevention of certain diseasesStronger bones, Reduced chances of Type 2 diabetes and Longer life
It is also very important to prevent injury during activity. Injuries can happen at any time so it is crucial before working out you need to warm up. This could be stretching or a walk. Anything that can get your heartrate up is good. You also need to hydrate constantly, especially when working out! You lose a lot of fluids when working out so staying hydrated is a good idea. At the end of your activity is is also important to cool down. Weather this is a nice walk or a low cardio anything to slow your heartrate after a workout is also a good way to prevent injury!
Therefore it is important to prevent injury and to take care of yourself!
