- Plot: King Midas is visited by an elf; the elf turns his cat to gold, then claps his hands and it changes back. Midas begs for the golden touch, but the elf warns him it would be a curse to him. Midas insists. He dances about joyfully at first, but then he realized what he has done out of greed.

- King Midas leaved in a palace filled with beautiful things, but King Midas had one great weakness in his character. He was greed for gold............. A door suddenly burst open, and the King's daughter rushed into the room to kiss her father. He held out his hand to try and stop her, but he was too late. His beautiful daughter was instantly turned into a golden statue. King Midas screamed in horror and fell to the floor.
- The gold in this story symbolize greed & selfishness. Midas was a man who wished that everything he touched would turn into gold. In the end, he unintentionally turned his daughter into gold. Then he realized gold is not the true happiness.
