Macbeth realizes what he has done and says "This is a sorry sight" meaning that his hands that were covered in Duncan's blood are very distressing and are making him feel sorrow. Macbeth also talks about the voices of the servants who saw the murder.
Lady Macbeth seeing that Macbeth is stressed about killing the king, reassures him that they should forget about what they did. Lady Macbeth realizes that the daggers have to stay in Duncan's room, so their plan to frame the sleeping servants works but, Macbeth refuses to go into the room again. So, Lady Macbeth must do so herself.
Lady Macbeth feels the need to finish everything for Macbeth. So, she goes to Duncan's room and covers the sleeping servants with blood, to frame them. She also leaves the bloody dagger with them.
