- The Pharaoh wants to destroy Israel. One of his plans to accomplish this goal is to kill the sons of every Jewish family.
- A Levite woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son named Moses. She hid the boy for three months until she could no longer, and sent him in a basket down a river. The basket ended up going past a Queen by the river.
- I must find someone who can nurse this baby!
- Years gone by, and Moses grew up. Moses escaped from who was taking care of him at the time and arrived at midian. However, when he arrived, he saw that his people were being beaten by egyptian soldiers. In his anger he then killed an egyptian and buried him in the sand.
- When Moses was travelling alone, he saw a burning bush.
- Tell the Pharaoh to let my people go, or I will bring plagues among his people.
- The last plague came around in due time, and every first born son from every family will be killed during what the Jews call passover. The Jewish people were told to smear lamb's blood around their doors to be spared from death.
- After the tenth plague and the death of his son, the Pharaoh finally decided to let the Israelites go. However when he thought over his decision, his heart hardened, and God allowed this. God allowed this because he knew it would lead to the Pharaoh's destruction
