- Vespucci set sail under the Portuguese flag in 1501 with the goal of exploring Asia in mind.
- With the help of 16 officers, 70 non-commissioned officers and 190 sailors surely we'll make it to Asia with no problem!

- Whilst on his voyages, Vespucci sent letters to a friend of his back in Europe. These letters consisted of his findings and detailed descriptions of his adventures.
- Dearest William,We have started upon our journey and we are seeming to be on track. The crew are all fine and we are set to arrive in Asia approximately 20 days from now.I bid thee farewell,Amerigo Vespucci
