- Stanley has been told his entire life that he was cursed. All because of his great-great grandfather. His great-great grandfather failed to carry Madame Zeroni and she put a curse on their family.
- Climax
- You want some sploosh?
- A pair of ¨Sweet Feet¨ fell on Stanley's head from a freeway overpass. He was excited so he ran home to show his father. But the cops saw him running and pulled him over, therefore he was accused of stealing the shoes. So the court sentenced him to go to Camp Green Lake.
- Falling action
- We need to go back to camp.
- At Camp Green Lake the kids must dig holes. Stanley is placed into Group D, where he meets his future friend, Zero. Stanley doesn't know at the time, but Zero is Madame Zeroni's great-great-great-grandson.
- Resolution
- It smells familiar.
- Zero runs away from camp and Stanley ran after him. They were in bad health and the only food they had was "sploosh" and onions. The curse on the Yelnats family was fixed after he carried Zero up a mountain.
- Zero and Stanley were not in good health, so they made a plan to return to camp. They fill jars with water, collect onions into a sack, and they planned on digging up treasure once they returned to camp. Whenever daylight occurred they decided to make their way to camp.
- Stanley's attorney rescues Zero and Stanley from Camp Green Lake. The camp closed and later became a girl scout camp. After they go home, they open the suitcase to find jewels and paperwork. These contents leave them with less than one million dollars.
