- Hi my name is Dr. Edwards. I will be taking your C.A.T scan today. Before we getting started your mother had informed me that you've been having a lot of headaches throughout the week, is that true?
- Yes, I've had 12 headaches throughout the week, it hurts really bad
- I hate to break it to you, after doing all the scans your report came out positive for brain tumor. There's no need to stress everything will be fine in a month. You will have to go through an surgical brain operation , the doctors will have to shave your head inorder to get rid of the tumor.
- OH NO! How am I suppose to go to school with my head shaved. Everyone's going to make fun of me and call me ugly, I'm going to look like a freak.
- EXPOSITION: Janie's sister has been getting alot of headaches throughout the week & is feeling really sick.
- Hi, what can I do for you today?
- Just shave all my hair off
- RISING ACTION: Janie's sister ends up visting the doctor for her brutal headaches.
- Why'd you shave your head? You look just like me
- I did it so you wouldn't feel sad & depressed over your hair. It doesn't look so bad. Plus people like this, it's become a fashion trend in our school, while walking into the cafeteria I seen 10 other students with their hair shaved.
- CLIMAX: The doctor informs Janie's sister that she hasa brain tumor & that she will have to undergo an operation to get rid of the tumor. However, in order to get a brain surgery you are required to shave your head, but Janie's sister is afraid to do so, because she thinks the students at school will make fun and call her ugly.
- FALLING ACTION: For Janie's sister to feel better, Janie decided to shave her own head, so she wouldn't feel alone & depressed.
- RESOLUTION: After knowing Janie got her head shaved for her sister, Janie's sister felt extremely happy & proud of her hair. She later than realized how grateful she was to even be alive & healthy. She started to love and admire how beautiful being bald was. Janie's sister learned not to give attention to other peoples opinions.
