Child labor is mainly the using of children used as servants and apprentices this was practiced throughout most of human history very miserable work that children had to do having an affect on how work was being done at this time. This was the Industrial Revolution.
Child Labor is the exploitation of many children through any form of work. This deprives many children of their childhood, and interferes with their ability to attend regular school, it becomes mentally and physically unhealthy for these children.
In the year 1883 Samuel Gompers led the New York labor movement to successfully sponsor legislation prohibiting the cigar-making in tenements, where thousands of young children worked in the trade.
These children were paid less because they had to organize the people into unions. The stature enabled them to complete tasks in factories or mines that would be challenging for many adults.

There was a Child Labor (Prohibition and Regulation). The Act prohibits the many employment of children below the age of 14 years in hazardous occupations identified in a list by the law which had happened in 2015.
