- I came to the conclusion that Louis Riel can be seen as a patriot because he was a man who believed in a possible change. He was a great hero to his Metis people, for he also believed in justice and equality for the Metis. He also risked his life to attempt to improve the Meti's quality of life in Canada.

- Well, because he stood up for what he believed in, and for Metis rights. We need to think about why he did what he did. He started the rebellions in hope that it could better others lives, specifically, Metis lives.
