- Story of creation: Day 1 and 2
- On the first day of creation, God created light and darkness, which he called day and night after creating the heavens and earth. The sky was created on the second day of creation by God.
- Day 3 and 4
- Plants grew on the lands after God created the seas and the lands on the third day of creation. The sun, moon, and stars were created on the fourth day of creation.
- Day 5 and 6
- The fifth day of creation saw the creation of sea animals and birds.During the sixth day, God created land animals and Adam Eve became the first humans. Besides reproducing, taking care of the land he had given them and protecting it, God instructed them to have dominion over all living things.
- Day 7
- On the seventh day God rested.
- Through the creation story we now have a planet to take care of. Through the people that lived in the past made it possible for the present to be made. By taking care of animals, planting trees and cleaning up the environment made it possible for the present. This is environmental stewardship, the act of taking care of the environment.
