- Hey, I'm Charles Bolden Jr. Today I will tell you a little about myself.
- I was born August 19, 1946 in Columbia, South Carolina. I attended C.A Johnson High School, The US Naval Academy, and the University of Southern California.
- Military - I joined the US Marine Corps and became a Second Lieutenant.
- May 23, 2009 President Barack Obama announced me as NASA administrator.
- NASA - Joined NASA in 1980 and became an astronaut in August 1981.
- I am married and live in Houston, I also have two kids.
