- Teacher! Last night I was watching the news with my parents and it says that the world is ending from all of the air pollution!
- There is lot's of air pollution, but we can help the eEarth before too late. First must learn what air pollution actually is and how we can help solve it. To the teleportation chamber of learning!

- The primary pollutants we see in the air are: sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, ozone, lead, and particulate matter. These are commonly seen as a result of transportation, large machinery (construction), and farm communities
- But why are these so bad
- These gasses and pollutants in the air can worsen preexisting conditions such as asthma along with coughing and discomfort to the chest and throat. Lead in particular is extremely harmful to young children and can lead to development issues, weak respiratory system, anemia, and death. The elderly have a weak immune system if any of the pollutants were to make them ill, and lead can also cause developmental defects in pregnant women and possibly for the baby to die.
- 0-50 Good51-100 Moderate101-150 Unhealthy for sensitive groups151-200 Unhealthy201- 300 Ver Unhealthy301-500 Hazardous
- Lucky for us the Air quality Index(AQI) was created in order to help us know wether the air is safe outside. As long as the aqi shows between 0-50 you are safe
- Does anyone know how to raise or lower the aqi?
