  • The Myth of the Roman demigods is said to have had two brothers born from a princess that were to be drowned by the king because he did not want to have his position taken away. It is said in the myth that the two twins were saved by a wolf. Then Romulus and Remus grew up and Remus was killed so Romulus could be king of Rome.

  • Rome was developed on the Italian Penninsula that is shaped like a long boot surrounded by three sides of water. Romans settled near rivers and their were many mountains there. Rome was based on a penninsula which made it easy to get water.

  • Romans adopted Greek sports as well as slave fighting and chariot races. Slaves would fight to the death in the Coliseum where people watched. The winner would later be executed. They also had chariot races which were carts and vehicles where if the driver fell off he/she would be trampled.

  • The Romans also made many Greek gods and goddesses their own although they were more interested in rituals then stories. Also, their religion was a blend of many influences such as etruscan. When the Romans adopted Greek Gods they gave them roman names.

The arch was rested on two pillars and it's supported on a half circle of wedge shaped stones. A cuniculus was a long underground trench connected by vertical shafts to the ground above.
  • The Romans adopted the Ethucians and the Greeks art, literature aspects, and architectural designs. The Romans used the Greeks designs from the parthenon and other buildings into their public buildings like the Coliseum. They also used the Greeks art like pottery, where they stored stuff in, and also paintings where they would picture the gods they believed in. Lastly, the Romans used Greek and Ethesians literature and alphabet to write poems and other literature.
