- In the proclamation of 1763 the British government faced many problems after the war, such as preventing colonist and American Indians from hurting each other as settlers pushed westward. Washington forced settlers to stay east down Appalachian Mountains, and the Indians west.
- The Townshend Acts

- During the Stamp Act the British government had more problems than just keeping the American Indians and the Colonist from hurting each other. Another problem was they had to pay off a large debt from the French and Indian war. So they taxed citizens. with every newspaper you buy, you also buy a stamp
- The Boston Massacre
- In the Quartering Act the British soldiers were allowed to go into a random citizens house and live there for free they didn't have to pa anything, they could use their things and be served food. The British citizens did not like this they were extremely agitated and annoyed, all of this led to more and more disasters.
- 1773 Tea Act

- The Stamp Act was repealed, so the British took the advantage and created a new tax. Every time you bought something popular like paper, glass, paint, tea, etc. you would have to pay tax. The citizens hated this and were about to absolutely freak. This and other events, caused a major event showing how bad this is. This was the Townshend Acts
- OH MY GOLLY SINCE WHEN!
- On the same day that Parliament repealed most of the Townshend duties, a fight broke out between soldiers and colonists in Boston. When the dust cleared, five Bostonians were dead and others in the crowd were injured. “Fire if you dare.” As the mob pressed forward, the troops, in a panic, opened fire. The bullets hit several people in the crowd, including Crispus Attucks, a black man at the front of the crowd. Attucks was the first to die after being struck by two bullets.
- Colonist in Boston fought back and dumped 18,000 pounds of tea into the ocean, the British were mad they gave the East India company special rights in the colonial tea business, to shut down tea merchants.
