- After a lot of deliberation, Jamila finally concluded that she wanted to break up with Joe. But then a million negative thoughts struck her about the possible consequences of doing that...

- Jamila had this constant internal struggle of whether or not she should break up with joe. She worked slowly on gathering confidence and indentifiying the 2 most trusted people in her life. Once she was sure that they would support her, she told them everything.

- With the support of her friends, Jamila finally took the last step to regaining her freedom. She texted Joe to meet her at the mall and brought her 2 friends for support.
- What if Sara is right?? I never cheated on joe, and yet he continued to hurt me and seperate me from my loved ones...

- Once they had both arrived, Jamila finally told him the words she was longing to say.
- The second Joe heard those words he denied doing that and accused her of lying. He was slowly getting angrier and angrier, raising his voice by the second. He had raised his hand to hit her, but Sara and May had showed up and threatened him if he even touched her. Being outnumbered, Joe accepted his fate and left the scene. Now relieved, Jamila had blocked his number and hoped to forget about him.
- Jamila's friends comforted her, as the rest of her friend group showed up, offering the same support. Jamila was relieved that they believed her and that she was finally out of a situation which could have taken her life. Her life was now back to normal, No abuse, No Toxicity and No Joe.
