- In 1763 the king drew a line saying that Americans must stay on one side and the natives stay on the other to try to stop fighting but he was using soldiers to kick people out that settled there.
- The Boston Massacre
- They just shot innocent protesters!
- To pay for all the soldiers they were sending to America. The parliament passed two acts. One that put a tax on paper and legal documents and the other forces them to accept soldiers into there houses.
- Boston Tea Party
- We will no longer taxed or ruled by the british
- After they boycotted the parliament to get rid of the stamp act. A member pushed and succeeded a act that would tax every single item going through trade and took down ad took control over massachusetts government.
- The Intolerable Acts
- How dare the Crown shut down are government a stop are trade.
- A riot broke out in front of the boston tax collector HQ. Soldiers tried to stop and calm down the crowd but failed. Eventually they had to fire upon the rioter because they were starting to swarm them.
- We are surrounded and this mob is going to kill us!
- A large group of Sons of Liberty dressed up as Native Americans stormed a trade ship full of tea and dumped it into the harbor. This was a large scale protest against a new tea tax.
- This tea is beyond cheap and you are just destroying it all!
- In a response to the Tea Party the British locked down all Massachusetts trade and government. It also put a heavy tax on every single common item.
- This is what you Patriots get for rebelling against the crown
