  • Aerobic respiration produces much more energy and does not produce lactic acid. It also produces carbon dioxide as a waste product, which then enters the circulatory system. The carbon dioxide is taken to the lungs, where it is exchanged for oxygen.
  • Photosynthesis and cellular respiration work together because during photosynthesis, it releases gas as a waste product which is an element the process of cellular respiration needs. During cellular respiration, we give off carbon dioxide as a waste product which is an element the the process of photosynthesis needs.
  • After the carbon dioxide is exchanged for oxygen in the lungs, we breathe the carbon dioxide out into the air, which can then be used by a plant to restart the photosynthesis process over again.
  • Cellular respiration is an important process for all living organism because it is the metabolic process by which they obtain the usable energy by their cells (ATP). Food molecules in form of sugar (glucose) eaten by organisms are broken down in the presence of oxygen (aerobic) to yield ATP molecules, which is the energy currency of every living cell. This energy is used to perform the organism's life activities.
