- hi i'm Martin Luther i was born in Eislebeth Saxony Germany 1483, in 1501. I began to attend the university of Erfurt, whilst attending Erfurt I was almost killed as I was struck by lightning. After almost dying I decided to become a monk. Soon after becoming a monk I became a active reformer in 1505.

- luther saw that the church as using the catholics for money to get them into heaven. Luther knew this was wrong and the only way to get into heaven is by following God's morals.

- Later after that in 1517 luther nailed his 95 theses to the church door. Luther started to spread the word on his 95 theses and to the community that the church as using the catholics for money. the catholics were furious. Martins 95 theses was telling the catholics statements about the church about what they should be doing.

- the catholics started to protest and went with martins words about the church. these proteses resulting in new branches of christianity . the church had to do something about this so they made a group that stood up to the protesters.
- Whilst still being baffled the church was sentenced to excommunication at the Assembly in Worms. In court and Martin Luther was pleaded guilty of spreading lies about the church.
- In 1545 a council was formed the named the council of Trent this council helped the catholic church get back on track saying that they were sorry for their actions and wanted to apologize.
