- Students in History Class are learning about the "Return to Normalcy"of America after WW1 during the 1920s.
- The US pulled back from world affairs and kept away from other countries.
- At the start of the 1920s, President Warren G. Harding was electedinto office making him the 29th president of theUnited States. Under his presidency, the U.S. returned to a sort of "Normalcy."
- Just the thought of those foreigner gatecrashers gives me the heebie-jeebies!
- I'm scared. After the war,I'm worried aboutour safety.
- During WW1, the U.S. was involved with fights withthe entire world. And afterwards, civilianswanted peace.
- And part of thisIsolationist ideologywas from the fearof foreign people.
