  • How did it become normal?
  • Students in History Class are learning about the "Return to Normalcy"of America after WW1 during the 1920s. 
  • The US pulled back from world affairs and kept away from other countries.
  • At the start of the 1920s, President Warren G. Harding was electedinto office making him the 29th president of theUnited States. Under his presidency, the U.S. returned to a sort of "Normalcy."
  • Just the thought of those foreigner gatecrashers gives me the heebie-jeebies!
  • I'm scared. After the war,I'm worried aboutour safety.
  • During WW1, the U.S. was involved with fights withthe entire world. And afterwards, civilianswanted peace.
  • And part of thisIsolationist ideologywas from the fearof foreign people. 
  • The U.S. entered Isolationism;it separated itself from the political affairswithin other countries.
