- Representative Democracy
- Feudalism was most commonly used as the government in medieval Europe. There are no modern day examples of Feudalism, but however, medieval Japan used Feudalism. Also in Feudalism, there is a King, and under that there are nobles, then knights, and then peasants. Feudalism isn't very efficient because the government forces you to do things for them.
- Direct Democracy
- Today I have to vote on one thing, tomorrow another, and there is just so many different things I have to vote on!
- Communism is still used but only 5 other existing countries use Communism as a government. One of the countries use Communism as a government is China. Communism is where the people have no opinion and can't have any rights. If the people support a right or an opinion, they will get severely punished as going to jail for life and even die. Communism is a horrible government because the people have no rights.
- Dictatorship
- I SHALL HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER OVER THIS ENTIRE COUNTRY!
- Representative Democracy is the most common government used in the world today. Representative Democracy is were the people get to speak and get to share their opinion while speaking freely. One of the countries that uses Representative Democracy is Canada. Also in Representative Democracy, the people can vote for their rights. For example, if their are people going for president, the people can choose who they want for president and if more people want one person to be president than all the other people, he will be elected for president. It also makes a country a "free country." This is why a Representative Democracy is the best government.
- Oligarchy
- US FOUR SHALL HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER OVER THIS COUNTRY!
- In a Direct Democracy, the citizens have to vote on very specific things and multiple different things. One of the countries that uses a Direct Democracy as a government is Switzerland. They have to do it frequently, way more frequently than a Representative Democracy because in a Direct Democracy you have to vote on every little thing which may not be the best idea because of peoples preferences. Overall, the Direct Democracy isn't as efficient as a Representative Democracy.
- Dictatorship is a government held by a dictator, which is held by one person who holds absolute power of a country. One country that uses Dictatorship as a country is North Korea. Dictatorship is also a horrible government because one person rules and controls you. This means that everything that you do has to obey one single person.
- Oligarchy is basically Democracy but with 3-4 leaders that hold absolute power. Russia is one country that uses Oligarchy as a government. Oligarchy is a horrible government because you are ruled over four people. This means that all of the actions that you do have to obey four people.
