Hmm, I wonder...how does a rainbow form out of nowhere?
Ouh i know its for sure magic hahaha
Brother, can you explain to me how does a rainbow form
Ahh I see, you had the same question as me when i was a kid. Let me explain it to you in terms that you will understand.
When light rays enter a prism, the refractive index of the prism causes the light rays to refract. Because of the different wavelength of the light rays, thus when the light rays exit the prism, it will form 7 different colours without breaking or as we know, rainbows. We are able to see these colours because it is in the Balmer Series in line spectrum
But remember, not every light ray that passes through a prism will form rainbows. Light rays that are emitted by the discharge tube when an element is heated. These type of light rays when projected onto a black screen will only present certain lines due to different wavelengths, This is due to these certain wavelengths
