- Water creatures lived in a place of only water, before the world was created.
- A beautiful princess fell from the Sky World one day, but was saved by two loons who had been passing by.
- There was earth at the very bottom of the sea so different water creatures made an attempt to find some earth to bring back for the princess to live on.
- EARTH
- The beaver made an effort but died after reaching the surface, then, the otter tried but experienced the same result.
- Then, the toad was the last creature and successfully brought back a small amount of dirt to the Great Turtle before dying as well.
