- Tantalus was bringing back the chariot races for dinner. He offered Tyson the Hermes' cabin, but Travis and Connor Stoll refused, so they looked down. Tantalus enraged Annabeth and Percy.
- Despite the issues of the past, we intend to reinstate the chariot races. Does Hermes' cabin want to take the evil Cyclops for the time being?

- Travis and Connor were still stumped. They would never take a 6'3 cyclops, Percy realized.
- Travis? Conner? Your decision?
- Tyson is 6'3, I would understand why they wouldn't want him.
- Later, everyone looked up in surprise when they saw a green light glowing on top of Tyson. Percy realized what Annabeth said that the spirits of nature are the children of Poseidon.
- Tantalus burst out laughing, and the rest of the camp joined in except for Annabeth, Percy, and his friends. Tyson, who was unaware, didn't realize they were mocking him.
- Percy reflected on how no one laughed when he was claimed. Everyone knelt in honour of him. They were now laughing at Tyson.
- Tyson was now Percy's half brother, and Tantalus like usual made fun of Percy and Tyson.
- Stop laughing at him!!
- HAHA! I see a family resemblance. The monster will now live with his new brother, Percy!!!
- I guess now Tyson is my half brother. Why can't they stop laughing?!?
