- They were starving and dying of hunger. Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally all went to dairy queen to get food after a long 4 days of only eating baloney sandwiches.
- Johnny informs Dally that him and Ponyboy are going to turn themselves in to the police after killing bob.

- Dally snaps back at Johnny telling him why thats a terrible decision because he has been in their position and it all worked out. He did not want the gangs pet to go to jail.
- COME ON JOHNNY
- After the argument they went back to the church where Johnny and Pony had been hiding out for the past couple of days. But from a distance they see flames ssssssszzz the scream hot church, as they rush over the see that kids are inside of the church.
- They quickly drove over to save the kids. Pony lead the way while Johnny was not to far behind as they quickly rushed over like heros without a cape. They saw that the kids were stuck burning inside of the raging flames. "Get the Towheaded girl out first!" Said Johnny.
- Dally with nerves and rage that Johnny and Pony ran in he yells no let the kids get out themselves. Pony and Johnny refuse and go in to save the kids. As they save all of the children Jonny gets stuck in burning rubbish. Crash, Boom, Pow "The Church is keeled!" Pony was able to get out with a burnt arm. But Johnny wasn't so lucky as he suffered a terrible back injury. As they rush to the doctor Soda and Darry are there to check on Ponyboy.
